The year is 1978; in Louisiana, we follow a cult that has found a home in the swamps of the Atchafalaya Basin. The cult is built around drugs, nature, and art, and the cult leader has a massive influence on the surrounding area. An entity called moth king is said to live In the Swamps. The leader believes the moth king embodies a higher power, so he worships the king.
